What still stands after the scorch…

My first palm painting, Palmorn, was a success, but Billy suggested more color. So I tried this, but my color choices and the dark vertical tendrils suggested the aftermath of a tragedy we’re all too familiar with in California.

This dramatic “error” led to my confidence to tackle Station Retablo and Immolation.
