A road between–a journey begins…

Each Red Tree painting is different–a product of its place in the sequence of this artistic journey. Toward was adopted by a young couple at a fund-raising event, GET:ART for Project AngelFood.

It was reported to me that they spent a great deal of time looking at it, and he said to her, “I just want to sit with you beneath these trees.” They purchased this painting with her last paycheck as a teacher, as she was quitting to start a family.

I particularly love the representation of them starting a journey together and telling their grandchildren about finding this family heirloom.
