The gestural strokes of darkness float in a mesmerizing atmosphere of metallic droplets.

As with all of my calligraphic body of work, the background is done first, then the space for the foreground figure is “removed” with solvent, back to clear, then repainted.

This original painting is currently for sale. It is framed in a thin-line, metal float frame that can be easily inserted into a more ornate frame, as desired.
