Embellished gesture: The dance of a water spider…

This painting started with running my fingers over the newly exposed plastic surface, drawing on the native static charge. Then the finest of paint sprays is floated across the surface to reveal the pattern. Finally, solvent was used to remove the background to augment and emphasize the pattern.
