Serpentine… 

I did a series of quick, gestural black and white(plus silver) works in a flurry. This is one of my favorite, since I’m a dragon in the Chinese Zodiac.

As with all the calligraphic body of work, the background is done first, then the space for the foreground figure is “removed” with solvent, back to clear, and then repainted.

This original painting is currently for sale. It is mounted on a sheet of brushed aluminum that can be easily inserted into a more ornate frame, as desired.
