Carob bean pods and water = hot and spicy!

My neighborhood used to have many old, large, stately carob trees. I used the 3-dimensional curvature of their pods and water droplets to layer colors from the hot sector of the color wheel.  Sadly all but one of these trees is now gone.

I made one larger painting and divided it into two. The original paintings are no longer available for purchase.
